DEARBORN, MI (WTVB) - Gasoline prices that spiked again over the weekend have already begun to fall back a little, now anywhere from around $3.70 to near $3.80 a gallon at some stations in the Coldwater area. Nancy Cain at AAA Michigan says get used to it because that will be the pattern for a while. She says it’s just that time of the year. According to Cain, gas prices will peak sometime in the next few months.
Nationwide, prices are averaging about $3.56 a gallon. Billings, Montana has the lowest price in the country at $3.18 a gallon.
