Interpol will ring in the fall with their first album in four years.  El Pintor -- the band’s first disc since their self-titled 2010 album -- will arrive on September 9. It marks the first time frontman Paul Banks also handles bass duties, filling in for the departed Carlos Dengler . Banks, longtime guitarist Daniel Kessler and drummer Sam Fogarino  produced the 10 tracks on El Pintor themselves.

If you can’t wait until September to hear the new songs, Interpol will spend most of the summer on the road and are sure to preview songs from the new album then.  Check their website at InterpolNYC.com for the tour roster.
