If you've been wondering what Birds of Satan -- the latest Foo Fighters offshoot band -- sounds like, wonder no more. Though their first album's not due out for another week, fans can listen to the first streaming track -- called "Pieces of the Puzzle" -- right now on Billboard.com .
If that tune whets your whistle, you can sample another song by pre-ordering the band's self-titled debut album. That'll get you immediate access to another song, called "Thanks for the Line."
Birds of Satan is led by Foos drummer Taylor Hawkins and consists of Hawkins, Wiley Hodgden and Mick Murphy . The band's first album is self-titled and features guest appearances from Dave Grohl , as well as Foo Fighter Pat Smear and touring Foos members Rami Jaffee and Drew Hester .
Hawkins recently told NME that he thinks Birds of Satan sounds like David Bowie, Queen, Paul McCartney and Jane's Addiction all rolled up into one. You can judge for yourself when Birds of Satan hits stores on April 15.
