It appears that Kings of Leon ’s sixth studio album, Mechanical Bull , will make a big splash on both sides of the Atlantic.

Mechanical Bull is expected to beat out new albums by Drake and Jessie J for the #1 slot on the country's Official Albums Chart next week.  That's according to the U.K.'s Official Charts Company , which keeps track of record sales. If Mechanical Bull claims the top spot, it will be the band’s fourth consecutive album to debut at #1, following 2007’s Because of the Times , 2008’s Only by the Night and 2010’s Come Around Sundown .

As for the U.S., HITS Daily Double reports Mechanical Bull is expected to score the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart next week, with sales estimated to come in somewhere around 115,000 to 125,000 copies.  If the predictions pan out, this will be Kings of Leon’s second album in a row to debut at #2, following Come Around Sundown .

The Official Albums Chart will unveil its latest rankings on Monday, while the new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday.
