Lorde’s "Pure Heroine" Expected to Sell 110K-120K Copies Its First Week

Lorde ’s debut album, Pure Heroine , is expected to make a big splash on the Billboard 200 album chart this week. 

According to Billboard , Pure Heroine is projected to sell somewhere between 110,000 to 120,000 copies its first week out. While the sales numbers are impressive, Lorde won’t be ruling the tally: Pure Heroine is expected to take the #3 spot on the chart, below new releases by Justin Timberlake and Drake .

The Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be released on Wednesday.

In other Lorde news, the singer has signed on to perform at VH1’s first-ever You Oughta Know concert next month. The festival-style event, which takes place on November 11 at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, will also features performances by The Lumineers , Ed Sheeran , Emeli Sandé , Matt Nathanson , HAIM and JOHNNYSWIM . A live webcast of the concert will be available at YOKconcert.VH1.com on November 11, but VH1 will air the full show, along with short films that profile each artist, on November 21 at 9 p.m.
