DETROIT (WKZO) -- There will be a new leader for General Motors in China.
The automaker announced that Matthew Tsien will succeed Bob Socia who is retiring after a long career with the company. He will be the third president for GM China since 2012. Tsien will report directly to GM Chairman and CEO Dan Akerson who praised Socia for his dedication to the company and his help in preparing his successor to lead GM's largest market.
GM and it's affiliated companies could reach sales of three-million vehicles in China which would be a record for the company.
