Franz Ferdinand takes us for a spin in the new video for “Bullet,” the next single from the band’s current release, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action .
The three-minute black-and-white clip features the guys performing the track in a tight circle, while a camera quickly spins 360 degrees around them. The video includes a wide variety of detailed close-ups, which the clip’s director, Andy Knowles , says helps showcase the group’s dynamic stage presence.
"I wanted to capture a stripped-back, honest performance and I think having a good relationship with the guys helped achieve this,” says Knowles in a statement. “The ‘bulletime’ effect was added to really draw out little moments that every fan will recognize as signature Franz live performance tics. The song is so fast, it demanded an equally dizzy editing style to really capture the energy."
