Broken Bells -- the side project of The Shins frontman James Mercer and producer Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton -- has just announced their first batch of North American tour dates in support of their upcoming sophomore album, After the Disco.
The outing kicks off on February 28 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN and will make stops in Chicago, Boston, New York and Atlanta, among other cities. Au Revoir Simone will support the band on all the newly announced tour dates. Pre-sale tickets for the forthcoming gigs will be available on Wednesday. Remaining tickets will be up for sale on Friday.
After the Disco will arrive at all the usual outlets on January 14. If you pre-order the album now at iTunes, you'll score an immediate download of the album's first single, "Holding On for Life."
