Imagine Dragons ’ single “ Radioactive ” has been dominating the alternative charts for a few weeks now and has been climbing the Active charts. Frontman Dan Reynolds says that writing the track helped him deal with some personal problems he needed to overcome.
"That's basically a song about my struggle with anxiety and depression," Reynolds tells Rolling Stone . "It's about becoming self-empowered and rising above that. I wanted to write a masculine and primal song about conjuring and rising above human weakness.”
Imagine Dragons is currently trekking across North American promoting their debut album, Night Visions . The band will also hit a number of festivals this summer including Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, AL; the Made in America festival in Philadelphia, PA; Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI; and Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL.
