WASHINGTON (WKZO) -- A new poll shows that Debbie Dingell is the favorite, among Democratic candidates, to replace outgoing U.S. Senator Carl Levin. Dingell is a Democratic National Committee member and the wife of U.S. Representative John Dingell of Dearborn.
Through an automated poll conducted by East Lansing pollster Steve Mitchell, he found that in a Democratic primary matchup, Dingell has a slight edge over U.S. Representative Gary Peters. On the Republican side, things were much closer with U.S. Representatives Mike Rogers and Justin Amash, as well as Ronna Romney McDaniel, niece of Mitt Romney, leading the pack of potential candidates.
