AFI is now part of the Republic Records family. On Thursday, frontman Davey Havok revealed that his band would be joining the record label’s roster, and that the group has a new album headed our way.
“We are thrilled to be joining the Republic family for the release of our ninth record,” says Havok in a statement. “We've spent over two years realizing this album and could not be more excited to share it with all.”
While the band has yet to announce an official release date for the upcoming album, it is expected to arrive in stores in September.
You’ll be able to hear some of the new songs performed live when the band makes appearances at Riot Fest in Chicago, IL, September 13-15 and at Riot Fest in Denver, CO September 21-22. Dates for a headlining tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
