It appears that Queens of the Stone Age 's ... Like Clockwork will knock Daft Punk ’s Random Access Memories from the top of the Billboard 200 album chart next week. ... Like Clockwork is expected to nab a #1 debut on the list, with projected sales putting it somewhere around 80,000 copies.
If the predictions are true, this will be the band’s first #1 album on the tally. QOTSA’s highest-charting release before now was 2005’s Lullabies to Paralyze , which both debuted and peaked at #5 on the list with 97,000 copies sold its first week out, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be released Wednesday.
