Last week came the unexpected but welcome news that Trent Reznor has spent the last year working on a new Nine Inch Nails album.  Today, we have a name, a release date and more.

Hesitation Marks , due out September 3 on Columbia Records, is the first new music from Nine Inch Nails since 2008's The Slip and finds Reznor again teaming with musical partners Atticus Ross and producer Alan Moulder .  Even better, the first single off the new album, titled "Came Back Haunted," is streaming now on Soundcloud and available now for purchase on iTunes.  Pre-order Hesitation Marks on iTunes and you'll get a digital copy of "Came Back Haunted" for free.

NIN will also hit the road to support Hesitation Marks .  In a statement, Reznor calls the fall outing, dubbed Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013, "the full-on NIN live experience realized as we never could before."  The tour kicks off September 28 in St. Paul, Minnesota and run through November 25 in Calgary, AB, for a total of 31 dates.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, 6/13 via LiveNation, though fans who register at NIN.com are promised exclusive first access to tickets, before the general public.
