ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) - University of Michigan officials are reportedly considering new guidelines that would grant in-state tuition to undocumented students and military personnel.  The proposed revisions were posted on Monday and are expected to be part of the Board of Regents’ agenda during their gathering on Thursday.

If the guidelines are changed, it would be the first revamp of the university’s in-state tuition policy since 2005.  The changes would cut costs by two-thirds for undocumented students and would broaden the university’s policy for active duty military members and veterans.
