Slash may not be able to get into a studio with Myles Kennedy anytime soon, but that’s not stopping them from working on new tracks for the ex- Guns N’ Roses guitarist’s next album.
Speaking to The Morning Call , Slash says that he and Kennedy have been "going through this sketch process" to create new tracks, noting that they will get together as soon as Kennedy finishes work on Alter Bridge ’s next album.
“We'll get together and start fleshing this stuff out," reveals Slash. "We're sending the stuff back and forth [to] get the groundwork going on -- what we like, what we don't like.”
The guitarist adds that the album is in the early stages, so he’s not quite sure how it will sound once it’s finished. "I'm really excited about the material and it's great,” he explains. “I don't know what particular direction it is. It's a hard-rock record, because that's what I do, but you really can't say anything about it until it's out.”
