UNDATED (WTVB) - There’s fat and then a little fatter. The United States no longer leads the world in a very unflattering category but it’s not really anything to brag about. Mexico has passed the U.S. as the world's most obese nation, according to a new report by the United Nations. The UN says nearly 70-percent of Mexican adults are overweight, and childhood obesity in Mexico has tripled in the past decade. At the highest end of the scale, 32.8 percent of Mexican adults are obese, compared to 31.8 percent of adults in the U.S.
