It’s a mess out there. Thousands of trees down, thousands without power from the big ice storm that carved out a pave right over mid-Michigan on Saturday night. The cleanup continues today with Consumers Energy and Lansing Board of Water and Light workers pressing hard to restore power as quickly as possible. But patience is going to be key. Consumers says it could be the weekend before all customers are back on the grid. On the heels of all this, bitterly cold temperatures are arriving in time for Christmas. Highs tomorrow and Christmas Day are expected to be in the upper teens.
