Pearl Jam and Kings of Leon are among the music stars who have contributed items to an auction to benefit those affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings last December in Newtown, Connecticut.
Pearl Jam is offering a Fender guitar that was autographed by the entire band during their November 21 concert in San Diego, CA, along with a copy of the setlist from that night’s show. Kings of Leon is giving you the chance to bid on a package that includes four tickets to their concert on February 15 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, as well as the opportunity to meet the band before the show.
Other items up for bid include a guitar signed by country superstar Tim McGraw , lunch with actor Nick Offerman on the set of Parks and Recreation in Los Angeles, and a meet-and-greet with actor Zachary Quinto , along with tickets to see him in The Glass Menagerie on Broadway.
Bidding for the items runs through December 17 at Charitybuzz.com/SandyHook . All proceeds raised will go toward Sandy Hook Promise, a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing the causes of gun violence and helping the local community cope with the lasting effects of the tragedy.
