Dropkick Murphys are doing their part to help their hometown of Boston. The band has just announced via Twitter that they’ve raised $65,000 for those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings by selling a new t-shirt on their website.
The front of the shirt features a photo of Boston’s skyline, along with the words “For Boston." The back of the shirt features a picture of the city's seal and a note from the band which reads, "Thank you, to all who purchased this shirt. All proceeds go to the victims and families of the Boston Marathon bombings. Love, Dropkick Murphys."
The “For Boston” t-shirt starts at $24.99 and can be purchased at the band's official webstore .
