LANSING (WKZO) -- Legislation that would regulate the use of unmanned aircraft or drones is being criticized by law enforcement officials.
The measure was introduced by State Representative Tom McMillan of Rochester Hills. He's concerned about privacy issues when it comes to the use of the aircraft.
One proposal would limit the use of drones by public agencies while the second measure bans weapons on drones. Law enforcement agencies say there are already federal laws concerning the use of drones and this legislation is not necessary.
