Fancy yourself a video director? OK Go has partnered with advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi to launch the Music Video Challenge, which aims to find an aspiring filmmaker to create a video for their new single, “I’m Not Through.”
"I'm really excited to see what people come up with for the Saatchi & Saatchi Music Video Challenge," said frontman Damian Kulash in a statement. "Clearly, making videos is a pretty big part of our lives, but while we're in the studio finishing our new record, our heads are exclusively focused on the songs. So, it feels right to let other people into the playroom while we're not using it.”
if you're interested, you'll need to submit your video for “I’m Not Through” before May 7. After that, a judging panel headed up by Kulash and members of Saatchi & Saatchi will whittle down the list to the top ten contestants by the end of May. A grand prize winner will be chosen from the ten finalists and will be invited to spend a full week at the Cannes Lions festival in June.
