To be honest, I wasn't sucked into ABC's new drama Betrayal at all. I'm not a fan of adultery, and it wasn't a show I was even a little intrigued by. Airing it after a show I do like, Revenge, didn't work keeping me around to see the pilot either.
Enter a sleepless night with nothing else to do and On Demand. I thought, what the heck, I'll check it out.
Here is premise...Betrayal stars Hannah Ware stars as Sara Hanley, a beautiful photographer, who begins an affair with Jack McAllister, a lawyer for a powerful family, played by Stuart Townsend.
Both married to other people, Jack and Sara find themselves
drawn to one another. The premise also revolves around a murder trial,
which involves both of them on separate sides which makes things even
Hannah and Stuart are very attractive actors, but other than that...I didn't find anything I liked about the show. Nothing. The characters and the writing were bland. Boring.
I thought I'd give it another shot, maybe my sleepless night put me in a bad mood so I checked out the second episode. I couldn't even get through 15 minutes of it. Yuck. Total suckage.
Betrayal gets a F from me.
