Norway has won 303, the most.  The U.S.A. is second with 253 medals.  Bjorn Daehlie of Norway has the most Winter Games medals with 8 gold and 4 silver.

What do Tickets Cost?

The range is $15 to $1,200.  Taking in account all the various events, more than half of the tickets cost less than $150. 75% of the spectators are expected to be Russian.  The average monthly salary in Russia is $890. The most popular events are hockey, biathlon, figure skating, freestyle, and snowboard.

About 1,300 medals have been produced out of Russian alloys.  Each medal takes 18 hours to make.  That’s 975 days if produced one at a time.
