Linkin Park calls the police on Sublime

by Lunchbox

This is one of the weirdest stories I've read in a long time: Linkin Park was playing a festival gig over the Memorial Day weekend in Arizona. Part of the festival was Sublime with Rome, who were actually on stage right before LP. Apparently while Sublime was on stage, Linkin Park called the police to report that Sublime had drugs on them. We know this only because Rome Ramirez, the "Rome" from "Sublime with Rome" tweeted out the following:

Now it is true that Chester Bennington of Linkin Park as struggled with addiction in the past, so I get that that band would want to keep their distance. But calling the cops like that seems a little off...maybe TOO off. See, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park has come to the Twitter-defense of his band with these gems...

So I don't know if a tour manager, or roadie, or sound guy called the cops under Linkin Parks name, or if they stole their weed and blamed it on the cops...this story is still really weird. Maybe we'll get more details, and maybe answers...but at this point, we're left with crazy speculation, and a possible Twitter-war.
