Dave Grohl's famed "Sound City" documentary and Cameron Crowe's "Pearl Jam Twenty" will air as part of VH1's Rock Docs series.
The Grohl directed "Sound City" tells the story of the legendary Los Angeles studio where Nirvana recorded their 1991 classic "Nevermind." The film also features artists who all recorded at the now closed studio including Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, Neil Young, Rick Springfield, Weezer's Rivers Cuomo and Trent Reznor. "Sound City" will air August 17th.
2011’s "Pearl Jam Twenty" traces the band's path from their early years. There are more than 1,200 hours of rare and previously never-before-seen footage. And "Pearl Jam Twenty" will air October 12th, 3 days before the band releases their new lightning bolt album. More
