As the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge continues to sweep through the rock world, Motley Crue were the latest to take part
They called out some pretty big bands in the process, they not only challenged KISS, Def Leppard and Aerosmith to take the challenge, but to do so onstage.
Kiss and Def Leppard both accepted the Crues challenge over the weekend:
In addition to each donating $10,000 towards ALS research, both bands got to challenge folks to take the Ice Bucket Challenge as well. Kiss chose Elton John, Rod Stewart and Deepak Chopra. Def Leppard, meanwhile, challenged U2, Prince and Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale. Aerosmith has yet to respond. More and more
Meanwhile Sammy Hagar did the challenge as well, using the opportunity to challenge former Van Halen bandmates Alex and Eddie Van Halen.
Rushs Geddy Lee did the challenge with his bobblehead after being challenged by Les Claypool from Primus
