Metallica lead singer, James Hetfield will narrate an upcoming series on the History channel entitled, The Hunt. The show will focus on hunting the Alaskan Kodiak brown bears. Hunting is one of Hetfields favorite hobbies and he has previous bear hunting experience. The series will consist of 8 episodes and will premiere Sunday June 8 th at 9PM on History.

Meanwhile the 2 nd annual "Metallica Night" was at last Friday night San Francisco Giants' game. Lars Ulrich threw out the first pitch while James and Kirk Hammett performed a dueling-guitar version of America's national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner".

Hetfield also performed last Thursday night at the Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit at San Franciscos Fillmore theater. Hetfield was part of an all-star lineup performing a four-song set of Nothing Else Matters, Until It Sleeps, covering The Beatles In My Life, and then joined Green Days Billie Joe Armstrong and Chickenfoots Joe Satriani for a medley of Turn the Page and Green Days Boulevard of Broken Dreams. He also returned for the all star jam finale.
