Public voting has ended, and Kiss have won the fan vote for induction into the 2014 class of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The poll ended with Kiss at 17.22 percent, getting just over 239,000 votes. The rest of the ballot had Nirvana at just over 15 percent, Deep Purple at just under 12 percent, and Yes at around 10 percent. The official poll will now be used to create a single online fan vote, that will be matched against the approximately 600 other voters. The artists who get the most votes will be announced later this month December and will be inducted at a New York City ceremony next April. More and more and more

Meanwhile, a house in suburban New York owned by former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley caught fire and went up in flames over the weekend. Firefighters were called and found the home heavily damaged, with flames burning through the roof. Frehley had been fighting foreclosure on the property and a caretaker had been living in the home. The Red Cross helped the caretaker with emergency lodging. The fire’s cause remains under investigation. Frehley does not appear to live in the house, though he is still listed as the owner. No word on what the losses were. More and more and more
