Attempted break in at Kid Rocks house solved

by Otto Man

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Michigan after trying to break into Kid Rock's house.  The arrest came after surveillance photos from security cameras on Kid Rock's property were released and tips from the public led police to him. The pictures showed the man ramming a gate and trying to break into the house. The van that was used to force open the gate was recovered and impounded. The man himself was on crutches and never actually never got in the house, though he did cause nearly $30,000 in damages. Kid Rock had been offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the man's arrest and also sent a warning in a post on his website saying: "Thank God I was not on the property at the time of this attempted break in. I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives. I take the invasion of my personal space very seriously regardless of who you are." The 43 year old man was arranged Tuesday and was charged with three felonies and is currently being held on $75,000 cash bond.
