TICKS and Lyme disease

by Sean Stevens

It's unpleasant to think about, but every summer your dog is the prime target for Ticks, so EVERY time you return from a walk with your dog, you need to check for these little blood suckers.  You have a narrow window to pull them off and protect your pet from Lyme disease.

Dr. Justine Lee of the Pet Health Network says it only takes 24 to 48 hours for a tick to transmit the disease.; http://www.pethealthnetwork.com/lifestyle/your-dog-and-dangers-lyme-disease-part-i;
