Dehydrated Kale Recipes

Want a crunchy snack that healthy for you?? umm... who doesn't?! 

Try dehydrated kale! I just made my first batch last night and they are great. 

If you don't have a dehydrator you can also use your oven. The dehydrator is just much easier if you ask me. 

I made two different kinds...

Sea Salt Kale:

Ingredients:

Kale (organic or regular)

Sea salt

Wash Kale and dry (if its a little moist that is ok, I felt it allowed the salt to stick to the kale much easier that way) 

Place Kale on dehydrator rack 

Add salt to taste

Put in Dehydrator for 3 hours on 145 degrees. 

DONE!!  

(Might take longer depending on how big the kales pieces are before you start)


Spicy Kale:

Ingredients:

Kale (organic or regular)

Sea salt 

Cayenne Pepper

Garlic Powder

Wash Kale and dry (if its a little moist that is ok, I felt it allowed the salt to stick to the kale much easier that way) 

Place Kale on dehydrator rack 

Add seasonings 

Put in Dehydrator for 3 hours on 145 degrees.  

All done! That wasn't so bad was it?
